PumpHouse Blues hails from Richmond,VA and has been building a steady following in recent years. In December 2022 they entered the studio to create their second CD of original tracks intermingled with covers. These new songs will quickly become favorites of their followers. The title song "I Gotta Go" shows off the vocals of lead singer "Lutha" Lucas. He has the ideal R&B style for this original song, highlighted by Chris Leitch on trombone. Lutha is also outstanding on "Lettie Mae" a songabout his woman who leaves him. His desperation comes through clear and strong on this track and the guitar riffs are fantastic as well. "What Are You Going To Do" & "Big Legged Woman" (in a short,short mini skirt) are both a fusion of R&B, blues and funk, sure to get the crowd out of their chair and on the dance floor.
